Fairer Fields Farm proudly offers registered Jacobs Sheep, lamb and fiber products.The American Jacob’s are an old world sheep which, unlike many other breeds, have not undergone improved breeding and out crossing to satisfy the commercial marketplace. They have a more primitive body shape, are slender boned and provide a flavorful, lean carcass with little external fat. Ram, Priam, is no longer with us but sired some beautiful spotted lambs. He was not registered. The best guess on his parentage is Broken O Buttercup and perhaps Lillywold Job as sire.
